 Chicago,
IL - 2000 - Held in Chicago every Spring for the last thirteen years, the
Halloween & Costume Show is the largest and most comprehensive event of its kind. The
show attracts manufacturers, distributors and buyers from all 50 states and 33 countries,
and continues to grow each year.
Retail buyers can see the newest products and concepts from
every leading manufacturer in the industry from over 1700 booths spread out over 120,000
square feet. The Halloween and Costume section of the show features the most comprehensive
display of Halloween, haunt and costume products on the planet. You can even see many of
them in action in a very unique area called The Dark Zone. See the latest in props,
special effects, animatronics, pneumatics, sound & lighting equipment and scenic
materials, and haunted house consultants.
 Special events are planned including: The Ultimate Halloween
Costume Extravaganza - An opening night celebration featuring the most dramatic costumes
and accessories from our exhibitors and the National Costumers; and Chicago Nites - A
special series of events planned to help introduce you to fun in Chicago. More than 60 FREE educational sessions are
offered where you'll learn about the latest products and techniques, up close, from
leading industry professionals. The 3rd Annual Haunted Attractions Owner/Operator Seminar,
Thursday, March 12, 1998 at the Rosemont Convention Center, 8:00am - 6:00pm. There is
something for everyone from the newest to the most seasoned operators.
 In more than 1,700 booths - virtually every Halloween and

The Halloween & Costume Show section features the latest
in Halloween products, costumes, masks, haunted house supplies, makeup, and so much
more. The National Halloween Costume & Party Show is the most comprehensive show of its
